  • Schedule a one-time payment for a future date by credit card.
  • Your account balance is updated in real-time once a payment is made.
  • Avoid being put on hold for credit card payment processing.

How to pay your bill from the Client Centre or the app

Follow these steps to pay your insurance bill online:

Log in to the belairdirect app and go the "Billing" section.

Tap on the "Make a Payment" button.

Enter the amount you need to pay.

Select the “Pay now” button, enter your payment information and confirm the payment by clicking on “Submit payment”.

If eligible, you can now post-date your online payment for any balance due in the future. Simply select the “Pay later” option and pick a date between tomorrow and the due date.

*Please note that the only credit cards belairdirect accepts are Visa and MasterCard. Prepaid credit cards and debit cards are unfortunately not accepted at this time.

Once the credit card payment has been processed, a notice will pop up indicating that the payment was successful. You will also receive an email confirming the payment.

If you’re using the app, you can take a screenshot of the notice from your smartphone, if you desire.

If you scheduled a payment, a confirmation email will be sent right away, and the payment will process as scheduled.

Frequently asked questions about making online payments

Still have questions about paying your insurance bill online? We're here to help.

Yes. You can use whichever method best suits you to pay your insurance bill. If you prefer to pay your bills on your computer, you can do so through the Client Centre. If you're on the go, you can use your smartphone and pay your insurance bill through the belairdirect app.

When paying your belairdirect insurance bill online, you'll need to use a credit card. belairdirect accepts Visa and MasterCard as forms of payment. Unfortunately, belairdirect does not accept prepaid credit cards or Visa Debit at this time.

An error message pops up in 1of 3 scenarios:

  1. When an answer box requiring mandatory information hasn't been filled out before clicking "Submit Payment". Be sure to fill out all the required information before confirming the payment.
  2. When invalid credit card information has been entered. Verify that the card number, name (as written on the card), expiration date and CVV number are all correct. Ensure that your remaining credit limit is greater than the payment you're making.
  3. When there's an error in processing the payment. If this error persists, you'll simply need to try again later.

The field "Amount Due Immediately" contains your balance due. You can modify your payment to any amount greater than $0, but it must be equal to, or less than the amount due indicated.

Good news! You can now post-date online payments using the same payment process as previously available in the Client Centre

If your payment does not go through on the scheduled date, a second email will be sent to inform you about the failed payment. You will be invited to connect to your Client Centre to make your payment with another Credit Card.
