Change to belairdirect's underwriting insurance companies: A seamless transition for our customers.

For many years, belairdirect has been made up of two automobile insurance underwriting insurance companies: The Nordic Insurance Company of Canada ("Nordic") and Belair Insurance Company Inc. ("Belair").

The time has come for us to simplify our organization and have all policies underwritten by Belair.

As of May 7, 2017, all new business quotes* provided will be for Belair Insurance Company Inc. policies.

If you have a Nordic policy with a renewal date of June 30, 2017 or later, your renewal will be sent by Belair*. If your policy has an earlier expiry date, Nordic will continue to be your insurer until your next renewal, and you will continue to receive the same great service by our licenced agents.

Rest assured that this change will be seamless to you. There will be no changes to your policy wordings, you will keep the same coverages* and policy number.

Nordic will no longer write new belairdirect automobile insurance policies after July 7, 2017.
