When it comes to insurance, how is the value of my home calculated?

At belairdirect, we consider everything it would take to rebuild your home to the way it is right now. This may include the number of storeys, the existence of a garage, whether the basement is finished or not, and the year the house was built amongst other things. When you choose your home insurance, you give us all the information we need to make these calculations. Please keep in mind that this isn’t a reflection of the market value of your home, or how much you could sell your house for.
