Prepare yourself for the unexpected with SOS Identity* from belairdirect. Add this coverage to your belairdirect home insurance policy and if your identity gets stolen, you'll receive 24/7 assistance throughout the identity restoration process.

In the event that your identity gets stolen, the SOS Identity coverage will help you deal with the inconveniences associated with identity theft:

• Reimbursement for eligible identity restoration expenses incurred as a result of identity theft, up to a maximum of $25,000 per policy year, including notary costs, postal expenses, and long-distance calls.
• Reimbursement for lost income resulting from time taken off work to complete fraud affidavits, meet with or talk to law enforcement agencies, credit agencies, and/or legal counsel, up to a maximum payment of $500 per day and $5,000 per policy year.
• No deductible.
• Legal information service related to identity theft.
• Does not constitute a claim on your home insurance policy.
